perfect smells amazing

Really truly the best scents for me personally. Not only do they smell delicious. Knowing they have no nasties in them makes them smell even more delicious!

I love this perfume from Neal’s Yard, not many perfumes work with me but this is delicious.

The perfume smells lovely in terms of the neroli essential oil however it feels a little flat, it’s lacking the layers of a great perfume and feels more like an essential oil in a spray bottle.

Oh my goodness, this is absolutely lovely, the smell is so soothing and uplifting! Everyone keeps asking me which perfume I am wearing, it such a gorgeous fragrance. The spray is much finer than other perfumes I have used which is good because I find I am not using too much of it all at once so it's well worth the money as I know it will last!

Smells vaguely of rose when first applied, but then the scent completely disappears. Nothing like NYR’s original rose perfume, and will definitely not be buying the full size – particularly given the ridiculous price tag. Why replace the original gorgeous two perfumes (rose and frankincense) that lingered indefinitely on skin and clothing with these far inferior versions that have zero staying power? Big mistake by NYR. I am beyond disappointed. I have one bottle of the original frankincense perfume left, and will be hanging onto it for dear life, as I get compliments from literally EVERYBODY who comes near me. These new perfumes, however, are a massive fail. Sorry NYR, but please take note of your customers’ reviews and bring back the original fragrances, instead of offering us endless discount codes on these poor quality and overpriced new ones.

Love this perfume

Although a lovely perfume with good intensity, this is just not for me.

I really wanted to love this perfume, but am left only quite liking it. It is pleasant with a nice rose overtone but the vetiver base felt too much and it needed reapplying every few hours, with little staying power. I hope NY reformulate this

I smelt a bit of rose when I first put this on but it just smells of patchouli oil & wears off very quickly. Very disappointing but glad I only bought the sample

This is quite an ardent scent, so the name Rubor is very fitting.
I like it - and I like the way you have given classical names to these three perfumes.
I'm sure I shall appreciate the other two as well.

I had purchased the other two Parfums but, when I saw a discount opportunity, decided, as the others are so lovely, to try the Rubor. If anything, it is my favourite, yes there is a rose scent, but it is subtle and of course, the smell you'd get sniffing an actual rose! The smell is mixed with other gorgeous fragrances I've come to expect from Neal's Yard, so all in all, YES I do recommend it.

Thank goodness I only went for the sample bottles. The description and the actual smell were poles apart.

This is no different.

It’s hard to describe but if you like the Neal’s Yard blends, reed diffusers or the smell of any other products you will probably love this.

The only thing was it didn’t last very long on me.

Neals Yard rebranded and repackaged this rose perfume. The last version cost £35. What a shame.

I was so thrilled to see that NYR had bought back a rose perfume! It’s an absolutely gorgeous warm, lush and relaxing scent. It’s easy to wear everyday and is a little bit of everyday luxury! If you love rose dominant perfume do give it a go!

I have been wearing a fragrance from a premium brand for many years. However, on learning of the corporate links of the company, I decided that - despite being complimented on many, many occasions for my choice of fragrance - I needed to change … for ethical reasons. As I have been using Neal’s Yard bathing and skin products for many years, and as my decision to change fragrance occurred at the same time as the launch of the new Neal’s Yard fragrances, I decided to ‘take the plunge’. I decided to start with the ‘Rubor’ Eau de Perfume. I have no regrets about changing my fragrance, in fact, I am delighted. It might seem a strange way to express the effect of wearing this fragrance but I shall continue: one feels an holistic effect which includes the olfactory sensation but not that is not all … ‘a sense of wellbeing’ …
My original intention was to sample each of the fragrances before identifying my preference … perhaps it would be possible for Neal’s Yard to offer for sale a suitably-sized ‘trial’ set!

Bought as a gift for my mother’s 80th birthday. She loves it and actually so do I. It’s a gorgeous fragrance

It’s not a strong scent but I have had compliments from friends and family and I think I may have found my rose. A bit more exotic than an English garden rose scent though which is probably why my hubby likes it too.

I was expecting a much stronger smell !
Unfortunately I will not be buying this perfume again because it doesn’t smell strong enough for me 😞

Such a fresh smell and no synthetic undertones. Really lovely. I wish the fragrance stayed with me a bit longer but otherwise no complaints. Makes me feel calm as I put it on.

I have lots of NY products £££ and never bought perfume so I thought I would try the rose one. The bottle is lovely and it smells lovely but the smell doesn’t last. I went gently with the spray at first but then liberal with it when I next used it and it still made no difference. I sprayed it on my wrists around my neck. Blind tested friends, who could not smell it either. So sorry but honest reviews are important too.
