I've been using this moisturiser for a couple of years now and love it. It's light and easily absorbed and leaves my skin feeling moisturised and supple but not greasy at all. Also, although £25 is not cheap, you don't need much so it lasts for a long time. I don't have particularly dry skin so I can't comment on how it would be for those who do.
This is a lovely, light moisturiser, however, I find that using it as a standalone product after cleansing and hydrosol isn't adequate for my normal to dry skin. The magic touch is adding a few drops of Orange Flower Facial Oil prior to the moisturiser- the two products pair beautifully and leave my skin feeling hydrated and nourished. The scent is so very calming, and I'm able to enjoy the benefits as I go through my day!
After just a few days my skin has cleared and looks really healthy. Previously I was using the Rose Daily Moisture which, although very good, never quite coped with the recurring redness and irritation of my sensitive skin. But this Orange Flower moisturiser has done just that and my skin now feels calm and soothed all the time. I am so grateful and wish I could give it ten stars!
This is a lovely face lotion, sinks in instantly and smells really gorgeous. It's a great base for make up as it's not at all greasy and you don't have to wait for it to sink in before you can apply. Great day cream and smells as lovely as the rest of the Orange range.
It nourish my ski, my complexion is brighter and feels hydrated all day long. I would recommend it to anyone with dry and mature skin. The smell of Neroli is divine. I absolutely love it!
This is a lovely cream but why has the wonderful Starflower range been discontinued? The Soothing Starflower Daily Moisture was better for my dry skin.
Pros: Not greasy, sinks in well, skin looks nourished.Cons: Alcohol denat, Limonene, Linalool, Geraniol, essential oils. After watching Dr Vanita Rattan's videos on skincare (PLEASE watch her videos), I'm no longer using products with the above ingredients. I don't want to have contact dermatitis just because a product smells good, especially because I already have very sensitive skin.I'm just sad because I have such huge respect for this brand. I'l continue to use their products, but only their sensitive skin range. Just heartbroken because NY was one of the only few brands I trusted, for both their quality and affordability. If in the future, this product and others were reformulated, I'd buy again. I'd return this product, but I didnt get an invoice with my order.Consumer demand really does drive innovation as Dr V wisely said........
I started to use NY moisturisers last year and began with the Soothing Starflower Daily Moisturiser which really suited my skin and it looked a lot healthier. I thought I would try this Orange moisturiser but after a few minutes it gives a tight feeling on my skin which is not pleasant. I didn't get that with the Starflower which no longer seems to be available. Unfortunately I will have to keep using it as I can't afford to waste £25 but I won't buy this one again...
