Anabel's morning routine

Step 1: Cleanse & exfoliate

“In the morning, our  Frankincense Intense™ Triple Action Melting Cleanser  is always a must. It has a lovely, light gel-like texture that turns into a luxurious conditioning oil.

I use warm water and a muslin cloth which acts as a gentle exfoliator. It turns the cleanser into a soothing milk, and this just gently melts away all those everyday impurities.

Once those have been swept away, the rest of my products are ready to sink right into the skin for the best results. I find in the morning one cleanse is enough for me.”

Step 2: Boost & brighten

I follow with a combination of our Skincare Boosters - Vitamin CHyaluronic Acid and Organic Rosehip Oil. They’re the quickest way of boosting your routine with active ingredients, and I absolutely love how easy they are to layer; I just apply a couple of drops of each while drying my hair in the morning.

Rosehip Oil is a particular favorite of mine. There’s nothing like it for a radiant glow.

When we formulated our Skincare Boosters, we chose secondary ingredients to really enhance their core benefits – take our Vitamin C Booster for example. We paired this with Kakadu plum, the world’s most potent form of vitamin C, which contains 100 times more vitamin C than an orange.”

Step 3: Moisturize and protect

“I dab on a little  Frankincense Intense™ Lift Eye Cream  – it’s packed with plant-based actives, including ribose, linseed extract and microalgae, and just revives and lifts the under-eye area.

Then I follow with my Frankincense Intense™ Lift Cream  to seal it all in. It feels like a protective blanket, and you can really see it lifting the skin.

Then of course, I top it all off with SPF.”

Anabel's evening routine

Step 1: Refresh & tone

In the evening, I start with Organic Eye Make-Up Remover – it’s so gentle, with witch-hazel, rose and aloe. Then I go back to my  Frankincense Intense™ Triple Action Melting Cleanser with a fresh flannel and follow with Rejuvenating Frankincense Facial Wash for a really nourishing double cleanse.

I love this combination because it makes your skin feel so fresh without stripping the skin’s oils.

Generally, I like a mechanical exfoliator, like our Wild Rose Beauty Balm with a muslin cloth. But if my skin is looking a little dull, I’ll use our Wild Rose AHA Toner. It’s full of caviar lime fruit extract and citric acid, which gently exfoliates by breaking down the bonds that hold dead skin cells to the skin’s surface, revealing brighter, smoother skin.

It’s really a personal preference. Skincare is intensely personal, and no one knows your skin better than you do. Go with what your skin needs. That’s always my general advice.”

Step 2: Hydrate & nourish

Before bed, I treat my skin to an overnight lift with a couple of drops of our  Frankincense Intense™ Lift Serum, and I’ll never sleep without a layer of the Lift Cream, which helps bring back my skin’s firmness after a long day.

Even when all I want to do is hit the pillow, I take a moment to breathe in the relaxing aroma of frankincense in the Lift Cream, which is clinically proven to reduce feelings of stress when used for 3 weeks – making this collection my secret to stressing less and ageing well.

I also keep a Rehydrating Rose Facial Oil and Rejuvenating Frankincense Facial Oil  by my bed in case my skin ever feels in need of a little extra nourishment.

Step 3: Replenish & restore

“Once a week, usually on a Sunday night when I have more time to myself, I either use our  Frankincense Intense™ Age-Defying Overnight Mask or our Wild Rose Beauty Balm  as a nourishing mask.

It’s become something of a cult favorite for our customers. It’s often how they discover us as a brand – and it smells divine.

Overall, it really depends on how my skin is feeling. If I feel like my skin needs a lift, I use the frankincense. If I need some extra nourishment, I go with Wild Rose Beauty Balm and a gentle hot cloth.”
