Best shampoo

I love this shampoo - curiously its the only shampoo I have ever tried from all the current natural/organic brands that does not dry my scalp out. It cleans my scalp but leaves it moisturised at the same time. I gave it to my mother to try as she has seborrhoeic dermatitis on her scalp and it helped calm that considerably, so I would recommend it for problem scalps. Maybe not for oily scalps that need a lot of cleaning as its quite moisturising. Its probably easier to use when mixed with water before applying so it creates a lather. I don't bother to do this though, I find it simpler to apply straight from the bottle so there is not much lather, its a bit like applying a cold cream, it still works the same but I end up using a bit more product . I find the lids can be a bit difficult so I just unscrew them and take a blob out. Please don't discontinue this!!!

Fabulous!

I absolutely love this shampoo and don't understand the negative reviews. I have very fine, dry and thinning hair,, this gives me body at the roots and smooths my dry mid lengths. You do need a good amount and then massage into your scalp to work up a little lather but don't expect it to foam like a normal shampoo. This is a cream cleanser and smells absolutely gorgeous too.

Lockdown hair saviour ...

... as someone who normally gets a short haircut every 4 weeks, I started to find my regular shampoo leaving my increasingly lengthy hair dry, lifeless and not very easy to manage. This shampoo has been great, and I'll be carrying on with it, even when haircuts are back on again. What's more, it smells lovely in the mornings too.

Love this!

I stopped using shop bought shampoo and conditioner six years ago, using clays and other natural products instead. Recently this became too stressful and time consuming. After much research I decided that this shampoo, and the conditioner, were as free from nasties as I could buy in the UK. I love it! It lathers nicely, cleans my hair wonderfully and leaves it soft, shiny, and healthy. My local NYR consultant told me this is being discontinued- I so hope that's not true!

Love this special organic shampoo and conditioner....

This shampoo is perfect for my hair and I love that its so organic and natural. My hair is very curly, quite dry and 70% silver grey now. It really moisturises my hair and leaves it soft and manageable, it smooths and enhances the curls too. I don't need lots of foam to convince me that my hair is clean! And I will say that my hair feels quite 'thick' whilst I am washing it, but this disappears when its dry. Love it!

Perfect for my thick hair prone to dryness

I've been reading through the reviews, and this shampoo really seems to divide opinion! Ultimately, I think it's great for thick / coarse hair prone to dryness. It doesn't leave hair 'squeaky clean' (i.e. dried out), and yes it does take a little bit of time to get used to the low foam lather, but I honestly think this is a great product. As other users have pointed out, I'm not sure it's suited to finer hair - I'd imagine it would just weigh it down.

Works for me

I didn't know about the 'low lather' thing, a friend had recommended this and I thought I'd give it a go. So I, like several others, assumed the wrong stuff was in the bottle. But afterwards....well my thin fine hair felt the nearest to luxurious it has ever felt!! I find if I apply and leave for 20-30 seconds, then add a bit more water it will lather sufficiently. On top of this my dermatitis-prone scalp is calm and itch free even in the depths of winter. Now I've got used to the lack of bubbles I'm a convert.
